Zander Galerie is delighted to announce the opening of its new gallery space in Paris on 19th October 2023. Located in the vibrant district of Saint-Germain-des-Près, the new venue will feature exhibitions of contemporary art and photography by renowned and emerging artists. The gallery embraces the intimate scale of the new space, offering a uniquely focused environment for visitors to engage with the artworks.

In its inaugural exhibition, Zander Galerie Paris presents the early conceptual work Room (1970) by the British artist Victor Burgin. The exhibition is shown concurrently with Burgin’s major solo exhibition Ca (That!) on view at Jeu de Paume and Place(s) at the Centre Photographique Ile-de-France. Burgin is recognized as a pioneering conceptual artist and an influential cultural theorist of the still and moving image. Born in Sheffield in 1941, he has become widely known for his conceptual photo/text works.
